On July 12th the Cross of Armenian Unity celebrated Vardavar (Transfiguration Day).CAU’s Children’s Kingdom of the Machanents Theater and Art School choir performed songs that celebrated the meaning and symbolism of the holiday.The audience was also able to see how Vardavar was celebrated before Christianity, as a pagan holiday. At the end, everyone played traditional games and threw water on each other.
