Cross of Armenian Unity NGO was opened in “From Shushi to Shushi” photography exhibition

This spring, Cross of Armenian Unity’s Machanents Art Gallery opened a photo exhibition, held by ART PR, called “From Shushi to Shushi”.
It was the third exhibition of the photo collection. On display were works by famous photographers James Berberian, Zaven Khachikyan, Ruben Mangasaryan, Tigran Mangasaryan, Ashot Muradian, and Max Sivaslyan. The photos date from 1992 to the present. The exhibition curator and ART PR director, Gayane Davtyan, said, “This project aims to recall the journey by revisiting the photos, especially of the new generation, who were our heroes to liberate Shushi. This is first and foremost a tribute and honor to every soldier in the Artsakh War.” The photo documentation seeks explore the journey of Shushi since 1992--how it was then, and how it is today. Until now, the photos had never been published or exhibited. The “From Shushi to Shushi” photo exhibition was sponsored by the First Lady and the Ministry of Culture. The exhibition opened on May 8 in Shushi and in Gyumri and then moved to the Machanents Art Gallery at CAU, where it stayed until June 22.
