''Machanents'' 7^th International Art Symposium is organized by Cross of Armenian Unity Cultural Charitable NGO with the support of “Machanents House” social enterprise, Nebula Company, With the support of ''Machanents wine'' and “Arpinet” LLC.

The partner of the symposium is Artists’ Union of Armenia.

1. ABOUT THE SYMPOSIUM

The goal of the symposium is:

· To make an opportunity for foreign and Armenian artists to meet and share their experience.

· To replenish the collection of the International Art gallery founded in Ejmiatsin promoting intercultural dialogue.

Machanents 7^th International Art Symposium is entitled “ THE MAN OF NATURE“

It is dedicated to the painter Apresik Aloyan, who was devoted to nature.

THE OFFICIAL OPENING OF THE EXHIBITION of the works created during the symposium will be held on the last day of the symposium (October 7). Works will also be posted in the online catalog․

Official guests, cultural figures and celebrities, Mass Media will be present at the opening of the exhibition. The symposium will be full of surprises for the participants.

2. SELECTION OF PARTICIPANTS AND THE CRITERIA

The artists should send their CV (Résumé), 1 photo and a portfolio consisting of 10 paintings to the following email address: machanentssymposium@gmail.com

After receiving your application, the selection committee of “Machanents” International Art Symposium will answer you within 15 working days. Application deadline is 25^st of July.

3. THE TERMS OF THE SYMPOSIUM FOR ARTISTS FROM ABROAD

Organizer provides:

· Transfer from the airport to the hotel and vice versa

· 7 days stay at the hotel

· 3 meals a day

· Unlimited coffee and tea

· 2 canvases

· Cultural evenings

· Participation certificate

· Excursions:

o Mother See of Holy Ejmiatsin /4th century /

o St. Gayane Church /7th century /

o St. Hripsime Church /7th century /

o Zvartnots Cathedral /7th century /

o Historical and Ethnographic Museum of Ejmiatsin

o Garni Temple (1st century), Geghard monastery complex (4th century)

o City tour in Yerevan /Capital city of Armenia/

The participant should:

· Pay the participation fee - 300$

· Cover the flight cost

· Cover the visa cost /if necessary/

· Bring paints and brushes

The participants grant 2 or more paintings “born” during the symposium to

Cross of Armenian Unity NGO.

The right of the further disposal of the paintings passes to the Cross of Armenian Unity NGO.

Where will the participants stay?

The accommodation of the participants is provided by the supporter of the symposium “Machanents House” social enterprise.The participants will stay at the comfortable rooms of ''Machanents'' Guesthouse and “Machanents” Art Hotel. They will share double, triple and quadruple rooms. Participants who apply earlier will have the opportunity to share double rooms.
